Geberit air admittance valve is a device that is used to block air flows entering the room from the sewage system. Thus, harmful sewage vapors do not penetrate into the living quarters. In addition, the Geberit air admittance valve can be used to allow air to enter the sewage system.

The mechanism of operation the air admittance valve is simple: the valve has an automatic locking mechanism which opens and allows air to enter the pipeline system when pressure in the pipes decreases. When the pressure is increased, the valve returns to its original position.

The Geberit valve, however, does not divert the air.

Geberit valves are mounted on pipes with diameters from 50 to 110 mm.

Geberit air admittance valves can be supplied with the following items (depending on the specific model):

  • connecting pipe;
  • insulating.

Operating temperature: -20 - +60 °C.
